Singer, songwriter, band leader and multiple-instrument player (sometimes at the same time!), Zoe Lewis is an extraordinary “find” for all singers looking for extremely funny music (“Snow White”, “Hell But Swell” or “Sarcophagi”) or incredibly poignant music (“Aware”, “Mine” or this featured song, “These Shoes”) for their repertoire.

With 9 CDs there is a lot to choose from. Pre-Covid, Zoe was a regular at the Laurie Beechman Theater selling out the room every time she came to New York. As a matter of fact, on my birthday, I treated 8 close friends to her show as a Birthday present to me!

This song, “These Shoes” is a not-so-subtle political statement from a humanity (or lack thereof) point of view…it’s incredible!
