AWARD-WINNING SINGER-SONGWRITERS
ANYA TURNER & ROBERT GRUSECKI
ANNOUNCE CONCERT DATE AND CD RELEASE

In times like these, one has two alternatives: one can either sit on the couch screaming at the TV, or one can leave the apartment and start singing. Singer-songwriters Anya Turner and Robert Grusecki have chosen the latter and will debut their new show “Good Times Are Just Around the Corner” on Saturday, March 14 @ 7pm at Don’t TellMama. This evening, featuring songs from the vocal-piano duo’s new CD“Listen”, is a blend of musical memoir (“Don’t Worry” “My Chosen Family” “Glittering Prizes”) and social commentary (“#MeToo” “Dude Gotta Go” “Soon This Will All Be Over”). The cabaret is located at 343 West 46th Street, $20 Cover and two-drink minimum. Reservations: 212.757.0788 and www.donttellmamanyc.com. CDs are available through AnyaRobertMusic.com,  CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon.

In addition to their own performances, their work has been covered by such artists as Donna McKechnie, Karen Akers, Steve Ross, the NAAP Broadway Community Chorus, and the GenOUT Chorus of Washington DC. Two-time finalists for the Richard Rodgers Award, the team recently received a Bistro Award for Outstanding Songwriting.
