Stew is a friend from the late, great Barry Levitt’s class. He has been studying Cabaret and performing for a while now but this is the first time writing a song! He writes:

“I have absolutely no background in writing music but I just had this idea – a tune and a rhythm just came to me. I knew Dan Furman, who is an astounding writer and jazz pianist, from The Singers Forum and from having done shows together. I told him about this idea and asked if he could help me get it to paper.

I think the first time we sang it together was at one of his holiday parties but the first cabaret debut was at the Metropolitan Room a few years ago  where the crowd had a lot of fun with it

Written with and played by: Dan Furman.
