Eric Stephen Jacobs is a native New Yorker who studied art and photography at The High School of Music & Art and The School of Visual Arts.  He started photographing performers while still in school which led to a staff photographer position at the entertainment magazine After Dark.  He has been working as a makeup artist, graphic designer and digital retoucher ever since.

He’s done countless promos and CD covers for entertainers in the cabaret, pop, classical, rock and jazz genres. Just to name just a few: Sue Matsuki, Daryl Sherman, Carol Sloane, Marilyn Maye, Lainie Kazan, KT Sullivan, Jeff Harnar, Billy Stritch, Sidney Myer, Charles Busch, Jenny Burton, Jane Scheckter, Karen Akers,  Karen Mason, Jamie De Roy, Debbie Gravitte, Helen Schneider, Toni Basil, Barry Manilow, David Bowie, Mink DeVille, Barry Manilow, Jim Caruso, Nancy McGraw, Dorothy Loudon, Margaret Whiting and Sylvia Syms. He tells us that he would “love to add your name to the list!”

Lisa Viggiano both charmed and thrilled her audience with her tribute to Jane Olivor at the Laurie Beechman Theater. The multi award winning singer honored Olivor in the best way possible, with new and original arrangements based on, but not identical to, her idol’s songs. Musical Director, Yasushiko Fukuoka made magic with the Olivor songbook. Of particular note were renditions of “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Brooklyn Roads/I’m Always Chasing Rainbows,” and a stunning “French Waltz.” another thriller was “The Hardest Part of Love” sung eloquently by Viggiano.
