The Second Best Cabaret Show You’ll Ever See!
Don’t Tell Mama, April 3rd at 7:00pm and April 5th at 1:00pm

New York –April– What happens to all of the young, hopeful New York actors that you never heard of, once they decide to call it a day? Do they slump away in disgrace? Are they bitter and jealous and sad? Or do they find a way to transform big stage dreams and disappointment into something even better?

“The Second Best Cabaret Show You’ll Ever See!” is Camille Diamond’s story about not just the near misses and small regional productions that made up a life in theatre throughout her 20’s, but also about that special ‘second place’ feeling that anyone knows when they strive to reach their goals in a ‘compare and despair’ world. Songs include selections from musical theatre, jazz standards, as well as selections by Christine Lavin, and Carole King. “The Second Best Cabaret Show You’ll Ever See!” is her Cabaret debut.

Don’t Tell Mama is located at 343 W. 46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. Reserve tickets by visiting, or call 212-757-0788 (after 4PM) There is a $15 cover charge and a 2 drink minimum. Geoffrey Stoner directs, and musical direction is by Gregory Toroian.

Ms. Diamond received a BA and MFA in Theatre and performed in regional and off -off Broadway Theatres before committing to a career in non-profit, community center management serving children and families. She has sporadically given performances for friends in the business that “pulled me out of show biz retirement” for staged readings, recordings, or fundraisers. Six years ago she began studying the art of cabaret, and became a cabaret fan in the process. Last year, she was a finalist in The Three Tomatoes “Tomatoes Got Talent” Contest.
She came in second.
