Songs of Love, Hope and Remembrance
Aron Bederson and Frank Ponzio
at The Duplex Sunday April 5 at 4 PM

Returning to The Duplex, singer Aron Bederson with the support of pianist Frank Ponzio is performing songs from the theatre, folk and rock worlds. Composers include Stephen Sondheim, Alanis Morissette, Jacques Brel, Jerry Herman, Rosemary Loar and Tom Waites.

Aron Bederson is a long time member of Medicine Show Theatre Ens., The Assistant Cantor at The Actors Temple and an educator. He has recorded a CD:Songs I Love To Sing with pianist Jeremy Mage and recently presented a play he wrote on Thornton Wilder and Gertrude Stein. He also loves to teach humanities courses as well as voice and piano privately and in Westchester.

Frank Ponzio, jazz pianist and composer has performed with David Amram, Ben Vereen, Nancy LaMott, Bob McGrath of Sesame Street and Aisha Morris (Stevie Wonder’s daughter) at Birdland, Carnegie Hall and Town Hall. He was the music director for Jacques d’Amboise’s National Dance Institute and vocal coach at New School’s Actors Studio. Films scores include The Silver Swing, A Level Field, and Prehistoric Blues.
