MAC Award Nominee, Angela Leone in

“All My Tomorrows – Mathis And More”

at Don’t Tell Mama

Leone possesses a rich, mellow alto, conjuring images of a smooth port wine. With her musicality firmly rooted in the pop-jazz world, there’s a reason she’s often been called the “female Tony Bennett.”

Leone’s Musical Director is composer-arranger and pianist, Bill Zeffiro, a multi-award winning musician, who has not only accompanied a roster of A-list talent, but who enjoys his own residency at Manhattan’s La Revista restaurant and club. Director for the show is Lennie Watts, president of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) and himself a performer as well as a director. Backing Leone are John Miller on bass, Chip Fabrizi on drums and Mitch Endick on tenor saxophone.

Leone arrived on the Cabaret scene in 2012, with a background in music. She was awarded a music scholarship by the city of New York as a member of the “All City Orchestra” as an outstanding Woodwind Musician (with a preference for the bass clarinet). Then the vocal bug bit, and In 2013 Leone began working with the Singers Forum to sharpen her vocal skills. It was here that she met Bill Zeffiro, with whom she started taking private coaching. In 2015 Leone debuted at Tomi Jazz, and in 2016 had three separate performances of All My Tomorrows at Don’t Tell Mama.
