2020 Urban Stages Summer Camp

July 6th – August 7th, 2020 from 9:30-5:00

All students ages 10-15 with no previous experience may apply.

Class are small (max. 15 students) so campers receive individual attention from top-notch instructors.

Classes are offered over a broad spectrum of theater styles and skills including: acting, voice, dance, play writing, puppet making, mime, clowning, technical theater, spoken word, among others.

Campers create and perform their own original shows on an award winning Off-Broadway stage.

Campers gain experience in collaborating with peers in a supportive environment.

Urban Stages is an award winning Off-Broadway theater company that has been producing new plays, many of which are world premieres, for the past 28 years. Their outreach department provides over 300 programs and residencies each year to public libraries, schools, and community centers throughout the five boroughs of New York City led by Artistic Director, Frances Hill.

Cost:  $2,000 per students (scholarships available)
