What’s been said:
From the Cabaret Piece, “Here’s the Thing” (Oct 2015)
“Tim Connell is a real charmer who tells (and sings) the story of his life as it was and is in a welcoming, honest and heartwarming manner.” – Myra Chanin, Theater Pizzazz
All The Things You Are – Music of Jerome Kern @ Carnegie Hall (May 2019)
“New to me, Tim Connell sings one of the most convincing, tender renditions of ‘Just the Way You Look Tonight’ he submits the kind of finely gauged, musically pearly sensibility that would make any woman’s knees buckle.” – Alix Cohen, Woman Around Town
Thanks for The Memory: Celebrating 30 Years of Cabaret Conventions (Oct 20219)
“Making his Convention debut, Tim Connell offers a finely gauged “I Am What I Am” (Jerry Herman) with each verse incrementally building – no histrionics. The interpretation is more personal than its usual anthemic treatment. Vulnerability is affecting.” – Alix Cohen, Woman Around Town
